With the mercury level rising, Kollywood is all set to brave the heat and make people come out of their homes this summer with a string of releases. This year several movies have been deferred by a few weeks due to IPL and elections, and industry big-wigs are only hoping that it is a smooth sail without any hindrances.
Here are the list of some films that are awaiting for their release in May. The first weekend of May, saw the opening of Newtonin Moondram Vidhi, Pasanga, Meiporul and Ilaam Puyal, but the second week promises a even more interesting line up with Alaiyodu Vilayadu, Gnabagangal, Satrum Kidatha Thakaval and followed by Sarvvam, Rajathi Raja and Brahma Devata in the third week.
Cheran's Pokkisham along with Malayan and Maayandi Kudumbathar promise to be clean family entertainers in the third week, but the list of movies that would form the grand finale for the month of May are Thorannai, Kulir 100 Degree, Vaamanan and Naan Aval Athu.
With an interesting and impressive lineup of films set to hit the screens, it is definitely not a dry summer!
