Brad Pitt mobbed by school girls
Brad Pitt's heartthrob status is causing trouble for the actor as he gets mobbed every time he goes to pick up his son from school.
Pitt whose adopted son with partner Angelina Jolie, seven-year-old Maddox is a student at New York's prestigious Lycee Francais, causes such a uproar every time he appears at the gates of the school that the principal had to issue letters to parents warning their daughters to leave the actor in peace.
The school which is known for the celebrity kids on its rolls including Madonna's daughter and son, is flummoxed by its pupils reaction to the Ocean's eleven star, reported Daily Mail online.
"Madonna's children attend the school so students are used to celebrities, but Brad is another story. When he arrives at the school gates, all the girls rush out and practically mob the poor man," a parent told the newspaper.

Hit British film Slumdog Millionaire has won the top prize at the Academy Awards, winning eight Oscars including best director and best picture.
In a great night for Britain, Kate Winslet won the best actress Oscar for The Reader, finally clinching the award on her sixth nomination.
The big surprise of the night was Sean Penn, winning best actor for his role as gay rights activist Harvey Milk.
Heath Ledger won a posthumous Oscar for supporting actor for The Dark Knight.
The actor's family received the award on behalf of Ledger, who died in January 2008.
"We have been truly overwhelmed by the honour and respect being bestowed upon him with this award," his mother said.
Ledger becomes only the second performer to win a posthumous Oscar, following Peter Finch's win for Network in 1977.
But the night belonged to Slumdog Millionaire, the rags-to-riches tale that has enchanted audiences around the world.
Director Danny Boyle, 52, bounced up and down in delight as he received his award, telling the audience: "I swore [to my children] if this miracle ever happened I would receive it in the spirit of Tigger."
Optimism
The film, set in the slums of Mumbai (Bombay), won eight awards in total, including gongs for best adapted screenplay, cinematography, sound mixing, film editing, best original score and best song.
"There are certain places in the universe you never imagine standing. For me, it's the moon, the South Pole, the Miss World podium and here," joked British screenwriter Simon Beaufoy, previously best known for writing The Full Monty.
Indian composer AR Rahman, who received two Oscars - for best song and best score - praised the city which inspired the book, and subsequently the film.
He hailed "all the people from Mumbai and the essence of the film, which is about optimism and the power of hope and our lives".
"We had passion and we had belief and if you have those two things, truly, anything is possible," said Christian Colson.
As anticipated - after years of waiting in the wings - Winslet, 33, won her Academy Award for playing a Nazi prison officer in The Reader.
"I'd be lying if I hadn't made a version of this speech. I think I was probably eight years old and staring into the bathroom mirror," she said.
"I feel very fortunate to have made it all the way from there to here."
In a night of predictable outcomes, Sean Penn's best actor triumph for his portrayal of gay rights activist Harvey Milk seemed to win the A-list audience's approval.
"You Commie, homo-loving, sons of a gun," said Penn, addressing his fellow performers.
"I did not expect this, and I want to be very clear that I know how hard I make it to appreciate me," said the 48-year-old, who often attracts criticism for his outspoken views.
In an impassioned plea - and to rapturous applause - Penn called on "equal rights for everyone".
"I think it is a good time for those who voted for the ban against gay marriage to sit and reflect and anticipate their great shame," he said.
His thoughts were echoed by Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, who won best original screenplay for Milk.
"I heard the story of Harvey Milk and it gave me hope ... that one day I could live my life openly as who I am. And that maybe I could even fall in love and one day get married," he said.
Musical medley
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie both went home empty-handed, while The Curious Case of Benjamin Button converted just three of its 13 nominations - all in the technical fields.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences were eager to breathe new life into this year's ceremony, after a continued decline in TV viewing figures.
Australian actor Hugh Jackman hosted the show, and showed off his musical talents - opening with a medley of songs paying tribute to the best picture nominees.
He went on to join singer Beyonce in a tribute to Hollywood's best-loved musicals.
Spanish actress Penelope Cruz became the first winner of the night, picking up the best supporting actress award.
The 34-year-old star won her first Oscar for her performance as a passionate artist in Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
"Has anybody ever fainted here. I might be the first one," said Cruz, who was previously nominated in 2007.
Cruz, who becomes the first Spanish actress to win an acting Oscar, dedicated her award "to all the actors from my country".

Brad Pitt verbally strikes back in the latest edition of W on the tabloid bickering that began at the end of last year, when his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston implied that his new partner, Angelina Jolie, stole him away while the two were filming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie favourites for 'Batman' villains
Hollywood superstars Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie have emerged top favourites to play the villains in the next 'Batman' film, a follow-up of the last film 'The Dark Knight'.
In an online survey the duo have been voted people's favourites to play villains 'The Riddler' and 'Harley Quinn' in the next 'Batman,' the Contactmusic reported.
In the last Batman film 'The Dark Knight' late star Heath Ledger had played villain -- Joker. Ledger's powerful performance as 'The Joker' is already generating Oscar buzz this year.
Natalie Portman, Edward Norton, Keira Knightly and Kevin Spacey are the other popular choices. The online survey was conducted by DVD rental firm 'Blockbuster'.

Angelina Jolie 'best-paid' movie actress
Film star Angelina Jolie commands the biggest salary for Hollywood actresses, according to an annual list published by the Hollywood Reporter.
Jolie can expect to make $15m (£10.2m) a film, ahead of Julia Roberts and 2007 list winner Reece Witherspoon.
Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry are no longer able to make $10m (£6.8m), says the industry publication.
But male stars are outstripping their female counterparts, with Will Smith able to make $25m (£17m) for a movie.
Waning salaries
Jolie's partner Brad Pitt is able to make up to $20m (£13.6m) for each star vehicle.
Jolie, 33, currently starring in Clint Eastwood's Changeling, made $15m for Wanted and could increase her pay-out to $20m for a sequel, said the Hollywood Reporter.
The actress finished in second spot in last year's ratings.

When the going gets tough, the most powerful woman in Hollywood turns to macaroni and cheese.
Oprah Winfrey, who tops The Hollywood Reporter's annual ranking of the most influential women in entertainment, confessed Friday during a question-and-answer session with Editor-in-Chief Elizabeth Guider that the comfort food has been her "cure" for failure. Winfrey was among scores of female power brokers who celebrated each other at a private breakfast reception at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The media mogul's key to success? "Finding out how to be more of who you are and using that to be of service to something greater than yourself."
The chairwoman of Harpo Inc. tops the trade paper's 17th annual Power 100 list "based on her dizzying array of Oprah-branded media and her immense cultural influence," Guider said.
Honorees are chosen by a panel of reporters and editors who consider each woman's corporate position, control of purse strings and power to greenlight content.
During the same Q-&-A session, Disney's co-chairwoman, Anne Sweeney, who was second on the list, said she uses chocolate as a salve, while No. 3, Sony Chairwoman Amy Pascal, opts to hide under the covers when failure strikes. The list was published Friday.
"As No. 1, I say (the list) is a fabulous idea," Winfrey quipped. "It's fun and a way to acknowledge the work in a way that allows us all to respect each other."
Glenn Close was also honored at Friday's event. The 61-year-old actress received the trade paper's Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, which recognizes women's pioneering achievements in entertainment. As she presented her namesake award, former Paramount chief Lansing revealed that she initially refused to cast Close in 1987's "Fatal Attraction," which earned the actress an Oscar nomination and remains one of her career-defining roles.
Lansing called Close "a gutsy broad," lauding her for her talent, her dedication to her craft and for "opening the door for other women over 40." Past recipients of the award include Lansing, Meryl Streep, Barbara Walters and Jodie Foster.
"I don't feel wise or particularly insightful," Close said. "If anything, I feel more aware of the fragility of it all."
The actress choked up as she left the stage, calling her career and the Lansing honor "an embarrassment of riches."
Speaking of riches, The Hollywood Reporter also released its annual ranking of the industry's highest-paid actresses Friday. No. 1 this year is Angelina Jolie, who gets $15 million to $20 million per movie. Julia Roberts, at $15 million a film, came in second, followed by last year's top earner, Reese Witherspoon.

Superstar actor Brad Pitt revealed that his partner Angelina Jolie loves cereal and the strangest meal he ever had was "crocodile curry from a can".
According to thesun.co.uk, Pitt was asked by his friend Jamie Oliver about his kitchen secrets. Pitt revealed how he cannot do too much cooking saying: "I can rock a Sunday BBQ but that's as far as my culinary talents go."
Pitt and family were in New Orleans recently where Pitt went motorbiking and Jolie took her son Maddox shopping.

Obama Names Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston to 'Team of Rivals'
Continuing in his quest to assemble a so-called "team of rivals," President-elect Barack Obama today announced that he would name Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston to key Cabinet positions.
The two actresses, who have been perennial tabloid fodder as a result of their longstanding feud over actor Brad Pitt, were surprise choices for Mr. Obama's Cabinet, since neither of them has been a government official or even portrayed one in a movie.
But in his weekly Internet address, the President-elect explained his rationale for choosing the sworn enemies to his Cabinet: "I chose Jennifer and Angelina for the same reason I have chosen every other Cabinet member: they clearly despise each other with a passion."
While Mr. Obama was vague about which Cabinet positions the two actresses would ultimately hold, insiders said that Ms. Jolie was a shoo-in for Secretary of Labor.
Doris Kearns Goodwin, historian and author of the book Team of Rivals, said that she was "thrilled" by the selection of the two actresses to Mr. Obama's Cabinet.

Jolie 'three months pregnant', claims magazine
A US magazine has claimed that superstar Angelina Jolie is three months pregnant with her fourth biological child, a claim denied by the spokesman of Jolie and Pitt.
The weekly magazine 'In Touch', which had previously broken the news of Jolie's second pregnancy with twins, said the actress is expecting her seventh child in the new year. The magazine will hit stands on Thursday.
In its 'exclusive' report the magazine says, "An excited Angie can't stop talking about the new baby. So why doesn't Brad seem thrilled?"
But after the denial from spokesman of Jolie and Pitt, other US outlets have rubbished the claims, the Daily Mail reported.
The weekly magazine, however, has consistently repeated the reports in recent weeks.
Jolie and Pitt already have three adopted children and three biological children, with twins Vivienne and Knox just four months old.
The actress had expressed a desire to expand their family in recent interviews while promoting her films, 'Kung Fu Panda' and 'The Changeling'.
At the launch of the DVD for 'Kung Fu Panda' last week, Jolie had told reporters, "Anything could happen. We're open to anything, we love kids and we're having a great time. It's chaos in our house, but it's so much fun. We'll definitely have more."
The actress had said that she couldn't be happier with partner Pitt.
"He's the best daddy and we have fun, so whenever it gets hard we can just look at each other and find a way to laugh about and just appreciate that they're only little once, and we should enjoy every minute," Jolie had said.
The weekly magazine 'In Touch', which had previously broken the news of Jolie's second pregnancy with twins, said the actress is expecting her seventh child in the new year. The magazine will hit stands on Thursday.
In its 'exclusive' report the magazine says, "An excited Angie can't stop talking about the new baby. So why doesn't Brad seem thrilled?"
But after the denial from spokesman of Jolie and Pitt, other US outlets have rubbished the claims, the Daily Mail reported.
The weekly magazine, however, has consistently repeated the reports in recent weeks.
Jolie and Pitt already have three adopted children and three biological children, with twins Vivienne and Knox just four months old.
