Aamir gave me the best compliment ever: Jiah Khan

British-born Nishabd actress Jiah Khan says she has received the best ever compliment in her life from her "Ghajini" co-star Aamir Khan.
“Aamir told my mother that if I was a part of 'Ghajini' it was because of my own achievement and talent. It was the best compliment I have received that too from the best actor of the country - Aamir Khan. What more could I ask for,” Jiah said.
Jiah says getting selected for “Ghajini” was the most memorable moment for her because she feared rejection.
"When Aamir and the director told me I was in, I couldn't believe it! I was in tears and overwhelmed,” she said.
Jiah stole the limelight for her role in Ram Gopal Varma's “Nishabd” opposite Amitabh Bachchan in 2007.

Britney Spears allowed to go on dates under supervision

Troubled singer Britney Spears has been allowed to go on dates but only if she is under the supervision of her assistant or the members of her management team.
The star has had a troubled past since her split from ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2006. Britney was admitted to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation soon after her divorce.
The singer, who recently made a career comeback with her new album 'Circus', revealed that she was able to date but only under the supervision of her assistant Brett and Adam Leber, a colleague of her manager Larry Rudolph, The Contactmusic reported.
Britney said she enjoyed her time as a single but her dates have not been much of a success.
"Right when we got there, we just knew it was just bad. He looked like an older version of Harry Potter, but skinnier... So I had to get dessert first.
"And the other date I had, the guy was really, really tall and a lot older... We're trying to ask him questions, like, 'OK, you're into martial arts, so what kind of martial arts are you into?' And he was like, 'Oh, all kinds.' But you know how silly we are, so we were just cracking up," she told Rolling Stone magazine.

George Dating Clooney was stressful: ex-girlfriend

George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Sarah Larson revealed that she had a stressful time dating him.
Larson, who was a waitress, says she did not enjoy the relationship with the superstar.
Contactmusic.com reports her saying: "It was a little nerve-wracking because everybody loves George, and so, to be in the public eye like that, it was a little bit stressful. It's a lot to take in. I think I just went like a deer in the headlights. At times, I didn't know what to do."
The two dated for almost a year, but she hasn't been in touch with him since they broke up.
She added: "I haven't spoken with him in a very long time. It's not necessarily that there's hard feelings, but we just haven't. When you break-up, it's difficult but you move on.
"Out of respect for George, I know how personal he is and so I really do try to avoid as much of that as possible, because I know that he's a very personal guy and I would never wanna do anything to make (him) uncomfortable."

Is the BJP wooing superstar Rajnikanth in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls? While BJP leader L K Advani met the superstar at his residence in Chennai, Tamil superstar Rajnikanth was the star attraction at Advani's launch of his autobiography in Tamil. But both are not saying much right now. "I told him that I've noted his public statements that he would enter politics only when God guides him. I appreciate that," said L K Advani, Opposition leader. Rajnikanth was non-committal."It was just a courtesy call by Advani," said Rajnikanth, actor. The superstar has made political endorsements in Tamil Nadu in the past and has for long been adding fuel to the speculation that he would enter politics.Recently, he had told his fans that any decision on this would be taken only after his present film project 'Robot'.So, as Rajnikanth is being tight-lipped, going back to his own words in the past, perhaps only God would know what lies in the offing.

Hema Malini keen to learn Rabindra Sangeet

After being a successful actress, danseuse and politician, Bollywood's dream girl Hema Malini now wants to learn Sanskrit and songs penned by Rabindranath Tagore, better known as Rabindra Sangeet.
"I want to master Sanskrit. I want to record a CD of shlokas (chants) as much as I wish to learn Rabindra Sangeet and sing at least one song," Hema said.
Hema was attracted to the music recently when she visited a Rabindra Sangeet soiree. There she heard singers like Lopamudra Mitra and Swagatha Laxmi Dasgupta, apart from a recitation of Tagore's poem by eminent actor Soumitra Chatterjee.
Though Hema has sung in films like "Haath Ki Safai" and "Dream Girl", she couldn't pursue her vocal training due to her dance.
A professional Bharatanatyam dancer, Hema has earlier performed two dance dramas based on songs by Tagore - "Bhanu Singher Padabali" and "Rabi O Radha".
Right now Hema is busy shooting for "Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi", in which she plays erstwhile Gwalior queen Vijayraje Scindia.
