What ever happened to Siddhartha after Bommarillu? It's been two years that Bommarillu had been released and Siddhartha has had only one release called Aata after that. Why is no one willing to bank on a sellable star? There seems to be a bias based on caste factors in selecting heroes for films.
Sidharth who had at some stage in the beginning of his career had said that his top priority is to do Telugu films today finds himself without a new project in Telugu. He has drifted and migrated to Hindi and Tamil films.
Are not Telugu film makers and directors letting go off a good actor based on regional considerations? At some stage even Prakash Raj was also meted out such treatment. If Telugu cinema wants to stand a chance at national and international level it needs to do away with its biases and be more competitive.
While this is one angle of expression among film lovers, the people those are known about Sid say that he is arrogant and hold high aspirations always and also involves in script of the film he works in big way that brings disgust for directors. Whatever be the reason, it is true that Sid has been distanced from Tollywood and only his 'Konchem Istamga Konchem Kastamga' and 'Aakasamantha' are in line now
