Distance Between Siddhartha and Tollywood

What ever happened to Siddhartha after Bommarillu? It's been two years that Bommarillu had been released and Siddhartha has had only one release called Aata after that. Why is no one willing to bank on a sellable star? There seems to be a bias based on caste factors in selecting heroes for films.
